2016-17 Budget is a win for tradies and the building and construction industry

According to Master Builders Australia the “2016-17 Budget is a win for tradies and Australia’s $200 billion building and construction industry”.

With a progressive reduction in company tax rates, an expanded tax write-off, no change to negative gearing, a $50 billion infrastructure package, and an $840 million youth employment package, MBA believes the 2016-17 Budget will mean a boost in “confidence and should bring forward economic activity, investment, growth and jobs in the building industry.”
